Crowned Heads Le Patissier No. 50 Maduro

Le Patissier is a cigar range from Crowned Heads Cigars, launched in 2021. The name means ‘the pastry chef’ in French and is intended to reflect the inspiration behind the range. The first link between French cuisine and cigars was initially established with the Le Carême cigars. The idea behind this cigar series was to pay homage to the pioneer whilst also highlighting that these cigars offer chocolatey flavours!

A culinary cigar journey

The blend of a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, a Nicaraguan Jalapa binder and filler tobaccos from Costa Rica and Nicaragua offers an interesting and unusual flavour profile. Characteristic are the earthy and nutty notes, whilst the chocolate flavours are not as dominant as one might expect given the brand’s name.

The sweet temptation of Le Patissier cigars

The Crowned Heads cigar brand was founded in 2011 by Jon Huber and Mike Conder, who had previously worked for CAO Cigars. The brand’s name was inspired by a poem by T. S. Eliot, which conveys the idea that every person is a kind of king in their own life. Crowned Heads has built an excellent reputation for creative and appealing blends, which are often inspired by art, music and pop culture. Some of Crowned Heads’ best-known cigars are the Four Kicks, Juarez, Luminosas and Mil Dias.
