In 1884, the young Spanish immigrant Angel LaMadrid Cuesta opened his first cigar factory and soon gained a reputation as one of the greatest artisan cigar manufacturers of his time. A few years later, Peregrino Rey joined him and founded the world-famous Cuesta Rey cigars of the highest quality. Cuesta Rey cigars were once the official cigar of the Spanish King Alfonso XIII in the 19th century, and Señor Cuesta was honoured with the title of "Tobacco Supplier to the Spanish King and Court". Today, more than a century later, Señor Cuesta's commitment to handmade cigars is honoured with the Cuesta-Rey cigar line

Made in the Tabacalera A. Fuente

The Centenario is carefully hand-rolled in the Dominican Republic by the renowned Tabacalera A. Fuente and wrapped with a light Connecticut Shade Natural or a dark Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro to provide a smooth and creamy flavour. Filled with Cuban filler, each cigar is aged for up to five years in a specially designed cedar wood warehouse. After five stages of quality control and more than a century of expert craftsmanship, the cigars that fulfil all the criteria are adorned with the Cuesta-Rey Centenario band
