DESCRIPTION
The origins of Macanudo go back to the 19th century, when many Cubans emigrated to Jamaica. Macanudo was first used as a format name around 1940 and the brand really took off from 1968 after being sold to General Cigar. In the 1990s, production was relocated from Jamaica to the Dominican Republic.
Macanudo has been one of the best-selling brands in the USA for the last 20 years.

Tolle Zigarre mit viel Rauchspass
Die Churchill (sehr langer Rauchspass) brennt sauber durch, nur wenig Schiefbrand, der aber nicht korrigiert werden musste.
Das Aroma, anfänglich (1cm) noch etwas zögerlich, dann aber wurde es sehr vollmundig, mit lange und sehr angenehmen Geschmack auf der Zunge. Bei mittlerer Stärke kommt eine dezente Süsse, Nüsse und Holz, sowie eine spezielle aber gute Fruchtigkeit durch. Ob es die Fruchtigkeit der Beschreibung ist, weiss ich nicht, aber für mich hat en den Taint von Cassis. Die Aromaentwicklung nimmt noch etwas zu, aber im grossen und ganzen sehr linear und geschmeidig. Für das was sie kostet, unschlagbar. Unbedingt probieren.
