Adventura: The Navigator Magellan

Adventura The Navigator is the second of five planned cigar ranges, created by Marcel Knobel (Cuba d’Oro – Fine Artisanal Cigars) and Henderson Ventura (Tabacalera William Ventura, Santiago, DR). They are medium-bodied and reveal a wonderful bouquet of mocha and nuts right from the start. As the smoke progresses, leathery and spicy flavours emerge, accompanied by hints of toffee and delicate caramel.

Chapter 2

With their newly discovered love of tobacco in their luggage, ADVentura and his companion McKay set off joyfully on their journey home. However, the journey from the island of Kiskeya back to the Old World proved anything but easy. Rough seas, hellish storms and a crew that was often unwell put a strain on the nerves of all the travellers. Nautical precision was essential. Every route was – as far as possible – measured, calculated and neatly entered into the logbook. The concentration required for navigation, the mental strain on everyone’s nerves and the fatigue made mental relaxation an absolute necessity. How fortunate it was that ADVentura and McKay had brought plenty of leaves of this tasty and exquisite herb with them! McKay hurried to the storeroom.

To his horror, he realised that, due to the stormy swell, the various tobacco leaves had become completely jumbled up. McKay instinctively gathered them up, rolled a cigarette and lit it straight away. The freshly rolled tobacco initially revealed a medium-strength, wonderful bouquet of mocha and nuts. As he continued to smoke, leathery, spicy flavours emerged, accompanied by hints of toffee and delicate caramel. McKay was blown away and ran excitedly up to the deck to join ADVentura, who already had land in sight...
