Cohiba

Cohiba is considered by many connoisseurs to be the "top brand" among Habanos. In our opinion, this is correct, although of course this is also a matter of taste. The cigar has been produced since 1964 and has borne the characteristic belly band with the brand name"Cohiba" since 1966. The best tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region are used for production. Initially only available in Cuba, it has been available on the open market since 1982. The Cohiba cigar has its origins in the world-famous "El Laguito" manufactory, which, according to unconfirmed reports, has the privilege of being the first to select the tobacco leaves from a year's harvest. What makes the Cohiba practically unique, however, is the triple fermentation of the Seco and Ligero filler leaves!
The Cohiba is available in the three Líneas Classico, 1492 and Maduro as well as some Edicion Limitadas. As an introduction, we can warmly recommend the Siglo's from the Línea 1492, for example the Cohiba Siglo I. If you prefer slightly larger formats, the Cohiba Robusto or the relatively new Cohiba Medio Siglo would certainly be a good choice.
