El Septimo - a world-famous brand
Founded in 2005 by Gilles Botquin, the brand was acquired and continued by Zaya Younan in 2019. This acquisition has helped El Septimo redefine its strategies, goals and production processes to fulfil its mission to create one of the best cigars in the world. The tobaccos are grown in the mountains of Costa Rica at an altitude of over 2000 metres and are rolled by hand, with all tobaccos being matured for between 5 and 15 years before being further processed.
