Cigarillos with
filter
Are you looking for good cigarillos with a filter? In this case, we would like to introduce you to Cortos!
Cortos stands for fine filter cigarillos, which are produced according to an old original recipe. We offer this fine and light cigarillo with filter not only in the classic version, but also flavoured or with a fine fragrance in our shop.
If you are looking for something more classic, we recommend the Guantanamera Puritos cigarillos. Where do these cigarillos get their name from? Guantanamera is the title of a song written and popularised by the Cuban Joseito Fernandes in 1928. It became an international success in the 1960s and represented Cuba worldwide. It couldn't be more classic, could it?
Smoking cigarillos the right way
How do you smoke cigarillos the right way? There is no perfect answer to this question, as there is no clear definition of right or wrong. It's up to you whether you inhale or puff. After all, it's a matter of taste and, as we all know, taste is not always the same. Of course, the strength of the cigarillo also plays a role. From a health point of view, inhaling a cigarillo is not recommended, as more harmful substances enter the body, which also applies to filter cigarillos.
In addition, it can be said that the flavour is more pronounced when puffing than when inhaling. When puffing, the smoke is absorbed into the oral cavity, where the flavour unfolds best, and expelled again via the mouth or nose.
Although the cigarillo resembles a cigarette, it should not be forgotten that the tobacco comes from many Cuban brands. And it is a shame to simply inhale it away. The rule here is: don't rush and enjoy! It is said that one puff per minute is sufficient and ensures that the tobacco does not burn too quickly. If it does, the cigarillo tastes bitter and the flavour is gone. So remember: take the time that you and the cigarillo need!
Production
Almost all cigarillos are made by machine. They are normally made using tobacco left over from cigar production. The tobacco is cut or torn for this purpose
Storage
Cigarillos can be stored without a humidor without any problems. However, we recommend opening the protective packaging (cellophane) only before smoking. If the cigarillos are placed in a humidor, they will gain in flavour.
Lighting correctly
We recommend lighting the cigarillo with a normal lighter (with a yellow flame) or a match. If the cigarillo is lit with a jet lighter, the tobacco will be very hot and the cigarillo may taste sharp or pungent. Cigarillos should be lit with a flame that is not too hot.
Minis Cubanos Cigarillos - Cigarillos from Cuba
The cigarillos in the Minis Cubanos range are machine-made from an exquisite selection of the best tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region in Cuba. All Minis Cubanos are made from 100% Cuban tobacco. The Minis Cubanos are available in three different formats: Minis, Club and Purito and, since recently, also Short. The Minis Cubanos are produced worldwide by the Cuban-Spanish joint venture company "Promotora de Cigarros
S.L." (Promocigar). This company, which is based in Madrid, Spain, is backed by the Cuban company HABANOS S.A. and the British tobacco group IMPERIAL. The production of all machine-made cigars and cigarillos is centralised in the production facility of "Internacional Cubana de Tabacos S.A. (ICT)" in Havana. The Cuban cigarillos are made from pure tobacco and no additives or flavourings are added.
Flavoured cigarillos
Flavoured cigarillos are something very special and bring even more pleasure to the smoker. Sweet flavours, such as vanilla, are particularly popular. In our opinion, Cortos offers the best vanilla-flavoured cigarillos, which are only perfected with a slight hint of rum. In general, sweet notes are ideal for cigarillos, as these components harmonise best with the flavour of the cigarilloCigarillos - a fine alternative
Even a short break can be enough to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a moment. A fine cigarillo is an enjoyable companion. With a size of between eight and twelve millimetres and a length of up to 120mm, they offer a short but high-quality smoking experience. Incidentally, the name cigarillo is not precisely defined, which is why the characteristics can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Sometimes it is also interpreted as an intermediate size between a cigarette and a cigar
Flavoured or natural
A basic distinction is made between flavoured and natural cigarillos. With flavoured cigarillos, artificial flavours such as coffee, vanilla, chocolate or fruity flavours are added. These cigarillos are usually somewhat milder than the unflavoured ones.
