There must be something magical about this cigar. It’s very aromatic and, for Alec Bradley’s range, a little stronger.

The Magic Toast

The idea for the Alec Bradley Magic Toast was born in the moonlight, right in the middle of a tobacco field in Honduras. One night, Alec Rubin stood with colleagues and business partners in the middle of one of his tobacco fields. They were examining the tobacco by torchlight. The combination of the moonlight and the shadows cast by the tobacco plants created a magical atmosphere. They quickly fetched a bottle of whisky and raised a toast to the night. That’s how the name ‘Magic Toast’ came about. Incidentally, the tobacco for the cigars comes from that very field.

Dark chocolate with bitter almonds

The smoking experience is very complex. The flavour profile is consistently characterised by dark tobacco notes, paired with a lovely sweetness reminiscent of dark chocolate. The bitter almonds also play a part in the composition, and towards the end of the cigar a hint of pepper comes through.

A wonderful cigar, though probably best suited to experienced aficionados.
