Alec Bradley presented the Texas Lancero at the IPCPR 2014 in Las Vegas. As a rule, cigars in the Lancero format have a 38 ring gauge - at least everywhere outside of Texas. In the US state, everything is a little bigger, including the cigar formats..
The Texas Lancero has a 70 ring gauge! The cigar has a medium-strength blend with tobaccos from Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Honduras. Aficionados can expect rich, earthy flavours of cedar wood, nuts and spices.

During one of my visits to the factory, I set out to create a big cigar with even bigger flavours. I played around with a few ideas and came up with an interesting variation, the Texas Lancero. The massive cigar with a ring gauge of 7'' x 70 is sealed with a pigtail, a sealing technique traditionally reserved for the long, thin and nuanced Lancero formats. Texas Lancero is a fitting pun for a large cigar that is remarkably smooth and balanced, with a size and flavour as big as the Lone Star State!
