Artista Cimarron Maduro Toro

The Artista Cimarron Maduro features a Mexican San Andrés as the wrapper and a Dominican Rare Negrito as the binder. The filler comprises Colombian, Dominican and American tobaccos. The strength of the Maduro range is in the lower to medium range and offers a wealth of flavours, including fruit, coffee, chocolate, nuts and allspice. A classic example of a Maduro that is anything but strong and leaves plenty of room for a leisurely smoke.

Cimarron – Live wild and free

The wild valley of the Cimarron River and the region of the same name in the American West are the inspiration for this line. Honest, earthy, close to nature and without frills. But also resilient, rugged and rock-solid. The Cimarron range uses top-quality tobaccos, though they have a certain rough-and-ready character – particularly in terms of appearance. You’ll rarely find wrappers bordering on perfection in this range.

Tabacalera El Artista (TEA) has been growing tobacco for around 70 years as a third-generation family business and is one of the largest tobacco producers in the Dominican Republic. Some of the tobacco is used for the company’s own blends, whilst the majority is sold on to cigar manufacturers . Artista’s hand-rolled cigars are the labour of love of Radhames ‘Ram’ Rodriguez, the grandson of the founder, Ramon ‘Pulita’ Rodriguez.
