Artista Pulita 60th Anniversary Toro

The Artista Pulita 60 anniversary cigar is a medium- to full-bodied cigar with a very authentic flavour profile. It is wrapped in a Rare Dominican Negrito, a very rare wrapper leaf. With Criollo 98 as the binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua, Colombia, the USA and the Dominican Republic, a traditional blend is created. The Pulita 60 is an absolute premium cigar with very solid construction and Caribbean spice. Dominant notes of cocoa and sweet exotic spices are accompanied by a subtle earthy undertone. A true connoisseur’s cigar with a complex flavour profile!

Pulita 60 – Back to the Roots

The Pulita 60 Aniversario 2016 was launched to mark the 60th anniversary of Tabacalera El Artista. No expense or effort was spared in reviving the ‘original Artista’ – blended by Ramón ‘Pulita’ Rodriguez in 1956 – as faithfully as possible. The same tobaccos are used – including some of the original blends – and the result is a genuine vintage smoking experience that is not to be missed.

About Artista Cigars

Tabacalera El Artista (TEA) has been growing tobacco for around 70 years as a third-generation family business and is one of the largest tobacco producers in the Dominican Republic. Some of the tobacco is used for the company’s own blends, whilst the majority is sold on to cigar manufacturers. Artista’s hand-rolled cigars are the labour of love of Radhames ‘Ram’ Rodriguez, the grandson of the founder, Ramon ‘Pulita’ Rodriguez.
