Matured tobaccos & legendary Cameroon wrapper

The hallmark of the Don Carlos range is the dark, finely veined African Cameroon wrapper. It envelops a carefully balanced blend of Dominican tobaccos in the filler and binder, which, according to the manufacturer, have been aged for many years. This combination creates a distinctive flavour profile: an elegant spiciness, cedar and earth, complemented by nutty and cocoa-like roasted notes – often accompanied by a fresh, almost ‘green’ quality that reminds some aficionados of eucalyptus. Overall, the cigar is medium-bodied, yet very smooth and well-rounded.

Seven sizes – from the all-rounder to a long evening

Whether it’s the Robusto or the longer Presidente: in this range, you’ll find exactly the size to suit your moment. The Robusto delivers the typical Don Carlos character in a concentrated and balanced form. No. 3 and No. 4 are slimmer and often have a slightly more focused spiciness. The Belicoso and No. 2 offer additional control over the draw thanks to their tapered head shape and often come across as particularly ‘precise’ in their interplay of flavours. The Double Robusto allows more time for the flavours to develop, whilst the Presidente, as the longest size, is made for a leisurely evening’s enjoyment.
