Cameroon wrapper: spice with a subtle sweetness

At the heart of the blend is the Cameroon wrapper – renowned for its spicy, aromatic and often slightly sweet character. Beneath this lie the binder and filler from the Dominican Republic, which lend the blend a creamy texture and a well-rounded body. Together, they create a smoke with a strong character, featuring notes of cedarwood, roasted nuts and coffee, accompanied by black pepper and an elegant, warm finish. Despite its strength, the profile remains harmonious and comes across as ‘premium’ rather than aggressive – ideal after a meal or with espresso, rum and mature whisky.

The Double Corona is the format for long evenings: with its impressive length, it allows the flavour to unfold particularly broadly – from a spicy opening to darker, roasted nuances in the final third. The Pirámide (torpedo shape) feels slightly more focused and, thanks to the cut, allows for very precise control of the draw. It often starts off concentrated, then becomes creamier and opens up the flavour spectrum with each phase. Neither format is box-pressed, clearly emphasising the classic hand-rolled experience.
