DESCRIPTION

Berta Elisi Grappa is a blend of various grappas made from a total of three grape varieties, produced over the past ten years.

Francesco Berta was born in 1866; he grew up in the vineyards of Piedmont and learnt how to make wine at an early age. However, his interest lay more with grappa, and so he devoted himself entirely to its production. Soon, the Berta estate was established in the heart of Piedmont, between Langhe and Monferrato, and is now successfully run by his two grandsons, Gianfranco and Enrico.

‘Grappa Berta Elisi’ is the result of a selection of different grappas produced over the last ten years and aged in oak barrels. It combines three different grape varieties: 50% Barbera d’Asti, 25% Nebbiolo da Barolo and 25% Cabernet.
