The filler for the Blanco Liga Exclusiva de Familia Broadleaf Maduro cigar comes from various regions of Nicaragua. Both Cesar and David Blanco have long had a fondness for the rich tobaccos produced by the country’s volcanic soils. The wrapper is a Pennsylvania Broadleaf Maduro from Lancaster County.
Aroma
A medium-bodied cigar with deep earthy notes, a hint of oak, sweet earth, spicy tobacco and a peppery kick, with a long, smooth finish.
About Blanco Cigars
The Blanco Cigar Company was founded in the United States in 1998. However, the family’s history and roots in the tobacco industry can be traced back to Cuba’s westernmost province, Pinar del Río. For over 20 years, the Blancos have been working with their cousins from Cuba, the Plasencia family, where production also takes place.
The Blanco Cigar Company’s head office and North American distribution centre are located in Clearwater, Florida. The Blanco family believes in a strong, family-oriented business, and as such, a large part of the family is involved in one aspect or another of the company.
Production is overseen by David Blanco, who has been blending cigars for over 22 years. The efficiency with which the factory operates is unrivalled. Erdig und kräftig
Die Zigarre ist optisch wirklich sehr edel verpacke und auch danach sehr schön anzusehen.
Das Aroma ist sehr erdig, sehr kräftig und intensiv. Der Pfeffer dringt auch deutlich durch.
Die Geschmacksentwicklung ist konstant vom Start bis zu den letzten Zentimetern. Der Abbrand ist mehr oder weniger konstant, sie brauch ihre Aufmerksamkeit.
Ich persönlich würde sie nicht mehr kaufen, da ich für den Preis doch schon deutlich bessere Zigarren hatte. Das liegt aber primär am zu erdig/pfeffeigen Aroma, ist mir zu intensiv.
Wer das aber mag, hat hier wirklich ein Vorzeigeobjekt, optisch und auch geschmacklich.
