Boveda One-Step Hygrometer Calibration Set

With the Boveda One-Step Hygrometer Calibration Set, you can easily check that your hygrometer is displaying the correct reading and, if necessary, recalibrate it. A precision humidifier from Boveda is enclosed in a heat-sealed zip-lock bag, which ensures a relative humidity of exactly 75% . To calibrate, place the hygrometer inside the bag, seal it with the zip and wait to see what the hygrometer reads. Then adjust the hygrometer.

Here’s how it works in detail:
1. Open the bag and place the hygrometer inside.
2. Seal the bag using the zip fastener.
3. Calibration should be carried out at a room temperature of between 18 and 24°C .
4. Leave the hygrometer in the bag for 24 to 36 hours.
5. Note down the difference between the reading displayed and 75 per cent.
6. Remove the hygrometer from the bag and adjust the reading by the difference.

If the kit is resealed immediately after opening, it should remain ready for use for 3 months.
