Director's Cut
DESCRIPTION
Director’s Cut is an uncomplicated everyday cigar from Nicaragua that delivers exactly what many aficionados are looking for: a consistent, ‘linear’ smoke with no surprises – but plenty of enjoyment and excellent value for money. The range is deliberately mild, making it ideal for beginners, for a relaxed cigar now and then, or as a reliable staple in the humidor when you simply want to enjoy the flavour.
Mild, creamy and pleasantly sweet
In terms of flavour, Director’s Cut is light and approachable: a creamy smoke with a delicate sweetness, complemented by fruity and floral notes. The tasting notes specifically mention rock sugar and pear syrup – a profile that feels smooth and isn’t overwhelming. Precisely because the cigar doesn’t ‘constantly change direction’, it’s perfect for moments when you want to relax and enjoy yourself: after lunch, with a coffee or as an uncomplicated after-work smoke.
Formats: Robusto and Toro
The range is available in two popular sizes. The Robusto is compact and direct – ideal for an enjoyable break with a smoking time of around 45 minutes. The Toro gives the blend more time to develop and often feels slightly ‘broader’ and rounder, as you can linger longer in the creamy, sweet aroma. Both cigars are classic parejos, not box-pressed, and come without a tubo – but with solid craftsmanship and a pleasant draw.
Workmanship & Everyday Suitability
Director’s Cut is hand-rolled and constructed as a medium filler. This makes the cigar attractively priced whilst remaining pleasantly uncomplicated. In terms of burn, it proves reliable, with good burn characteristics and plenty of smoke volume. In short: a mild, honest Nicaraguan cigar that you’ll be happy to offer at any time – or light up yourself time and again.

Ganz ok
Für den Preis bekommt man eine faire Zigarre für zwischendurch. Etwas süsslich, kräftig und gut verarbeitet.
Für den Preis zu empfehlen.
