Superb craftsmanship
Dominican Estates cigars are produced by the renowned Tabacelera de Garcia factory in the Dominican Republic and are characterised by superb craftsmanship and quality. José Seijas, the factory manager at Tabacelera Garcia, created the Dominican Estates range and is regarded within the tobacco industry as one of the most talented master blenders of all time. When developing this blend, the premise of an ‘unbeatable price-to-enjoyment ratio’ was taken very seriously. The cigar band is unusual and striking, changing colour depending on the angle of the light!
The filler consists of tobaccos from Colombia and the Dominican Republic, the binder is a US Broadleaf and the wrapper a Connecticut Shade. When developing this range, Señor Seijas took particular care to ensure the cigars offered excellent value for money, and he has been very successful in this regard.Key flavour

The cigars are hand-rolled and boast very distinctive flavour notes that are spicy yet pleasant. Over time, sweet, creamy notes become apparent, blending beautifully with chocolate and nutty flavours, whilst occasionally revealing hints of grass. The burn and smoke volume are well balanced in this rather mild cigar, which offers good draw resistance. Thanks to its exceptional variety of flavours and high quality at an affordable price, the Dominican Estates range is a real gem and a must-have in any humidor.

Ausgewogen und Mild
Geschmäcker sind ja bekanntlicher weise immer unterschiedlich. Für mich aber bietet diese Zigarre einen guten Allrouunder. Geschmacklich mild, aber nicht lahm, brennt sehr schön, gutes Zugverhalten. Die Aromen sind sehr angenehm, könnte man fast "rauchen" wie Zigaretten.
Preis/Leistung ist ok, könnte etwas günstiger sein, aber wie gesagt, ok.
Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Sehr gute Alltagszigarre mit mittelstarkem Smoke. Ausgezeichnetes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis und gutes Abbrandverhalten. Kann ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Sehr gute Zigarre. Einwandfreies abbrennen und Geschmack bis zum Schluss sehr angenehm.

Überraschend für den Preis
Die Dominican Estates Robusto ist für ihren Preis eine ausgezeichnete Zigarre. Ein gute Zugstärke mit einem ebenso gutem Rauchvolumen und Aroma.

bisher leider enttäuschend
Geschmack von Pfeffer und Schokolade spürbar, mittlere Intensität, scheint sich auch über die ganze Zigarre zu halten.
Erster smoke leider kaum zu rauchen, da überaus schlechtes Brennverhalten. Musste mehrmals neu befeuert werden. So leider kein Vergnügen. Zigarre war gelocht. Werde das nochmals mit schneiden versuchen. Hoffe, das wird noch was!
