DESCRIPTION
The new Undercrown Sun Grown has a wrapper made from a Sumatra seed from Ecuador (Sun Grown). The Drew Estate blending team has been trying to secure this Sumatra tobacco for Drew Estate for more than 15 years. The binder consists of a Connecticut River Valley tobacco leaf harvested from a stalk cut and a Sun Grown tobacco leaf from a Habano seed. The cigar is complemented by a strong filler from Nicaragua. A leaf from old Ligero from the Nueva Segovia region, along the border with Honduras, was added. This has resulted in a somewhat stronger blend.
