Kona coffee flavour: creamy, smooth, not too sweet
Several retailers and specialist reviews describe the aroma very accurately: an intense coffee aroma is accompanied by mocha, cinnamon and a subtle sweetness (e.g. sugar cane). That is precisely what makes the Kona so enjoyable: the flavours are clearly discernible, yet do not completely overshadow the tobacco character. If you like flavoured cigars that feel ‘well-rounded’ rather than artificial, this is the one for you.

Ein Sonderfall
Die Esteban Carreras Hawaiian Breeze Kona Corona ist für mich ein Sonderfall. Eigentlich war sie bereits beim Kauf ein Fehlgriff, da ich übersehen hatte, dass es sich um eine aromatisierte Zigarre handelt. Da ich grundsätzlich keine aromatisierten Zigarren mag, bezieht sich diese Bewertung primär auf die Verarbeitung und nicht auf das Aromaprofil.
Haptisch macht die Zigarre einen ordentlichen Eindruck, wobei mir das schlanke Ringmass persönlich weniger zusagt – ich bevorzuge Formate ab Ringmass 50. Technisch wirkt sie zwar sauber verarbeitet, der Zugwiderstand war jedoch deutlich zu streng und das Rauchvolumen entsprechend sehr gering.
Durch den eingeschränkten Zug konnte ich kaum Tabakaromen wahrnehmen. Im Vordergrund stand praktisch ausschliesslich die aromatisierte Süsse, die meinen persönlichen Geschmack nicht trifft. Dies ist allerdings keine Kritik an der Zigarre selbst, sondern vielmehr eine Folge meiner Vorlieben.
Für mich ein klarer Fehlkauf – allerdings aus eigenem Verschulden, da ich die Produktbeschreibung vor dem Kauf nicht aufmerksam genug gelesen hatte. Wer aromatisierte Zigarren schätzt, wird sie vermutlich ganz anders beurteilen.

Super fein, wie ein Dessert
Ich kenne diese Süsse von "Camo Sweet Robusto", aber die ist wirklich viel diskreter, überhaupt nicht störend und auch nicht variierend.
Es hat sehr viele Geschmacksnuancen Süss, Fruchtig, etwas Schoko und Zimt, siehe Grafik.
Meine klare Empfehlung, wenn man eine Desserzigarre möchte.
