DESCRIPTION
The Gurkha Cellar Reserve 15 Years has an oily Criollo wrapper from the Dominican Republic. A Dominican Olor is used as the binder and the filler consists of 15-year-old Dominican tobacco, which gives the cigar an incomparable character.
The Cellar Reserve was launched on the American market in 2011 and only found its way to Europe a few years later. The Cellar was awarded a dream rating of 97 points.
In addition to the absolutely flawless cigars, Gurkha is also known for its elaborate and exclusive packaging. The cigars are produced in the Dominican cigar manufacturer Tamboril.

Nur Pech gehabt?
Bei so viel Lob, das dieser Zigarre hier entgegenschlägt, muss ich davon ausgehen, mit meinem Exemplar einfach Pech gehabt zu haben. Die Zigarre war kaum zum Brennen zu bringen und erlosch sofort, wenn man sie nur kurz weglegte. Sehr schiefer, unregelmässiger Abbrand. Der Zug war ein einziger Krampf. Geschmacklich deutliche mehr als nur mittelstark und gegen das Ende hin scharf und beizend. Sehr schade, denn eigentlich spürt und riecht man, dass hier etwas Hochwertiges vorliegt. Bis man sie anzündet ...

Gut, aber nicht überragend
Die Gurkha Cellar Reserve ist eine sehr geschmacksvolle, mittelkräftige Cigarre. Zu Beginn etwas wenig Durchzug, entwickelt sich dieser bis am Schluss zum Besseren. Das Aroma ist rund und sehr vielfälltig, am Schluss etwas zu beissig für eine Cigarre in dieser Preisklasse. Daher gut, aber nicht überragend.

Beste Zigarre Ever, schon „fast“ das ganze zigarrenversand.ch-Sortiment durchprobiert, aber diese „Gurke“ ist der Wahnsinn. Klar, schon eine preisliche Hausnummer, aber jeder Cent (äh Rappe) wert!
