The Epicure Especial is a little bigger than its smaller sister, the Epicure No. 2, which is a real robusto.
The volume and flavour structure are therefore somewhat more pronounced, and the strength is also noticeably above the medium range. The Epicure Especial is an extremely successful cigar that not only looks great, but also really packs a punch.
The first third begins at a leisurely pace, after which delicious roasted aromas paired with a pinch of peppery spiciness and a wondrously creamy taste of dried fruit develop.

Es dürft ein wenig mehr sein...fürs verlangte Geld!
Auf dem Tubos steht *Especially*... nun gut so speziell war sie nun nicht. Gemütlich zum geniessen war sie alle mal aber man verpasst nicht viel.
An Konstruktion, Abbrand und Zugwiderstand gibts nichts zu meckern, das war alles 1A!
Nur was die Aromen angeht, hatte ich mir ein wenig mehr erhofft. Man könnte schon fast sagen: Einen Hauch von Nichts, sehr sehr mild! Ich mags gerne ein wenig kräftiger und bin deswegen wohl bei Partagas und Romeo y Julieta besser aufgehoben.
Vorhanden und wahrgenommen wurden etwas Holz bzw. Zedernholz und Nuss aber das wars dann auch schon.
Für das was sie kostet wird sie definitiv überbewertet, würde ich nicht nochmal kaufen zu diesem Preis!
