La Aurora
DESCRIPTION
La Aurora is celebrating 120 years of tobacco tradition with the unveiling of the La Aurora 120 Anniversary Edition. As the oldest and most traditional cigar manufacturer in the Dominican Republic, La Aurora reached a significant milestone in 2023. For 120 years, La Aurora has been producing outstanding cigars in Santiago de los Caballeros, drawing on a deeply rooted tradition. To celebrate this anniversary in style, the entire La Aurora team has developed a remarkably unique cigar. The La Aurora 120 Anniversary Edition is the result of expertise, passion, creativity and a tireless pursuit of perfection.
A harmoniously balanced cigar
The La Aurora 120 Anniversary Toro reveals a powerful opening with dominant cedar notes that unfold as the cigar progresses. The cedar aromas provide a gentle contrast to the smoky nuances of peppery cinnamon and aniseed. Following this dynamic start, notes of cocoa and coffee beans gradually develop, ultimately leading to a smooth vanilla finish and creating a harmonious balance.
La Aurora 120th Anniversary – beautifully packaged
It is not only the unique flavour of the La Aurora 120th Anniversary Toro that impresses; the design of the cigar box is also something quite special: the box was designed by a renowned Dominican designer and is adorned with artistic illustrations that bring the company’s history to life. With this anniversary edition, La Aurora has demonstrated that, even after 120 years, it is still capable of creating remarkable products. In doing so, the company remains true to its traditions whilst simultaneously setting new standards in tobacco production. We can look forward to seeing what innovations this legendary manufacturer has in store for us in the coming decades!

What Cigar Aficionado says about the La Aurora 120 Aniversario Toro
“This veined Toro with a flat cap draws and burns evenly. The smoke starts off woody before taking on a fruit-cake-like character with hints of molasses, walnut, dried fruit and an earthy finish. " Cigar Aficionado, 7 November 2023

Crap 5 out of 5
Schlecht gerollt
Schlechter Zug
Diese Zigarre ist das Geld nicht wert. Unüblich für die La Aurora, die sonst sehr gut sind. Wirklich Schade
