DESCRIPTION
La Flor Dominicana Ligero Cabinet L-300, L-400 and L-500 is a range for aficionados who prefer their cigars intense, aromatic and uncompromising. At LFD, ‘Ligero’ does not stand for gentle restraint, but for powerful, nicotine-rich tobaccos that lend the smoke depth and intensity. Added to this is the typical ‘Cabinet’ character: a dark, glossy wrapper, a sophisticated appearance and a blend that shows clear character from the very first puff – without ever losing its balance.
Blend: Dominican power meets an Ecuadorian wrapper
At the heart of the Ligero Cabinet cigars lies a robust Dominican binder and a Dominican filler (LFD farm-grown tobaccos), which provide body, earthiness and a distinctive spiciness. The whole is enveloped in an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper – particularly dark and aromatic in the ‘Cabinet Oscuro’ variants. This produces typical notes of earth and wood, accompanied by coffee and roasted aromas, often with a slightly sweet undertone in the background. Overall, the profile is clearly in the ‘full-bodied’ category.
Three sizes – one character
The range offers three popular sizes, each emphasising the same style in a different way: the L-300 delivers the aromatics in a compact and focused manner. The L-400 feels even creamier and more voluminous thanks to its larger ring gauge. And the L-500 is the size for anyone seeking maximum smoke and a particularly rich mouthfeel – perfect for long evenings when time is no object.
Tasting tip
These cigars reward a leisurely draw: this keeps the smoke cooler, the roasted flavours become rounder and the spiciness comes across as more harmonious. Espresso, a full-bodied rum or a spicy whisky pair particularly well – anything that complements notes of coffee, wood and cocoa without overpowering the cigar.

Gute Zigarre
