DESCRIPTION

The Macanudo Inspirado was specially developed for Europe. The cigars are all made entirely by hand in the General Cigar/Macanudo factory in the Dominican Republic. The binder and wrapper come from Honduras, while the filler is a blend from the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Nicaragua.

The origins of Macanudo go back to the 19th century, when many Cubans emigrated to Jamaica. Macanudo was first used as a format name around 1940 and the brand really took off from 1968 after being sold to General Cigar. In the 1990s, production was relocated from Jamaica to the Dominican Republic.

Macanudo has been one of the best-selling brands in the USA for the last 20 years.
