Produced in the Dominican Republic, it combines selected tobaccos from five countries: Spain, Nicaragua, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and the USA. Particularly noteworthy is the Spanish tobacco grown from Havana seeds, cultivated near Riolobos. Tobacco blend and ageing

The wrapper of the Macanudo Emissary España consists of a US Broadleaf Claro that has been aged for five years. The binder comes from the Condega region of Nicaragua and has been aged for six years. The filler combines carefully selected Spanish tobaccos, aged for up to ten years, with other varieties that have been aged for between five and six years. This long and careful ageing process produces a balanced, nuanced and sophisticated smoking experience.
