DESCRIPTION

In 1862, Karl and August Meukow travelled to the Charente on behalf of the Russian Tsar to select cognac for the imperial court in St Petersburg. They decided to stay in France and founded the ‘Meukow’ cognac house that very same year. Today, Meukow is a supplier to, amongst others, the House of Lords in London and the White House in Washington.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Fiery and mahogany-coloured, with perfect clarity and an appealing structure.
Nose: Floral notes of jasmine and iris. Fruity, with prune and peach.
Palate: Chocolate and vanilla flavours followed by notes of candied fruit.
Finish: Nutmeg, spices and a warm cigar box.
