My Father Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Super Gordo

The My Father Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial are rolled with a dark and oily Broadleaf Maduro wrapper. A rich blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos is used as filler, giving the cigar deep flavours of pepper, earth with cedar and coffee. 
The origin of these cigars goes back to a cigar event in New York. Jaime Garcia, the son of Don Pepin Garcia, created a cigar for the event, which was immediately well received. He then decided to include the blend in regular production.

Don Pepin Garcia is the man behind My Father Cigars. Born in Cuba, he was a master blender during the first part of his life in Cuba and developed blends for Cohiba, Partagas and Montecristo, among others. He was also responsible for quality assurance at Cohiba and was honoured as Cuba's most productive master roller during this time.
After leaving Cuba, he held various positions in the cigar industry in Miami. In 2003, he opened a small cigar factory, which was so successful that he opened further factories in Nicaragua. After that, things went from strength to strength and in 2009 he opened Tabacalera My Father Cigars, which is one of the largest and most modern cigar factories in Nicaragua.
