NUB Connecticut 358

With the NUB, José Oliva – the brilliant mastermind behind Oliva – has created an unusual cigar, the likes of which had not previously been available in the cigar industry. A 60 ring gauge with a length of just 100mm. The aim was for the cigar to unleash its full strength and flavour from the very first puff.

The NUB is now available in a wide variety of versions, and the name refers to the wrapper used. NUB stands for ‘stub’. This is intended to emphasise that this cigar should be enjoyed right down to the very end.

NUB Connecticut

NUB Connecticut cigars are short, intense cigars with far more flavour than one would expect from a cigar wrapped in a sweet and creamy Connecticut wrapper.

Here’s what Cigar Aficionado has to say

“Thick and stocky with a golden-brown wrapper. The draw is open and easy, whilst the burn remains even despite its size. It is woody and creamy with a hint of peanut and a touch of cedar. " Cigar Aficionado, 1 February 2022
