Robusto Extra 5 x 54: Full-bodied, yet controlled

The size (5 x 54) delivers noticeably more smoke and body than a classic Robusto, whilst remaining pleasantly manageable. Important for many Oliva fans: this edition is rolled round (not box-pressed) in the Robusto Extra variant, which often makes the draw feel a little more ‘classic’ and delivers the flavours very directly. Thanks to the larger diameter, the smoke also develops a pleasantly creamy character whilst remaining cool – perfect for an enjoyable 45–60 minutes.

Blend & Flavour: Ecuadorian Sumatra meets Nicaraguan power

For the blend, Oliva uses an Ecuador-Sumatra wrapper, combined with a Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua. In terms of flavour, you can expect a medium-bodied to full-bodied profile with roasted notes, cedar and dark chocolate, accompanied by coffee/espresso and a spicy, peppery character. A subtle natural sweetness ensures that the cigar remains well-rounded and harmonious despite its strength – ideal with rum, bourbon or a strong espresso.
