Origins & History

The Partagás brand was founded as early as 1845 and is one of the most traditional Habanos of all. The Super Partagás is available in the ‘Cremas’ vitola (5½″ × 40) and forms part of the regular production range. Despite its comparatively compact size, it delivers the full Partagás experience – with a distinctly recognisable brand identity, genuine hand-rolling and solid construction.

The Super Partagás offers a medium to full-bodied intensity profile with a robust, yet never overpowering, tobacco flavour. Aromatically, it is dominated by notes of black pepper, earthy tobacco, leather, cedarwood and nut. Added to this – particularly in the middle third – are hints of cocoa and chocolate, roasted coffee and a pleasant sweetness. It pairs superbly with an espresso or a mature rum and offers around 45–60 minutes of smoking pleasure.
