Plasencia Year of the Horse Limited Edition 2026 – Origin & Format

Crafted in Estelí, Nicaragua, from tobaccos cultivated and aged by the Plasencia family themselves: an organically grown Nicaraguan wrapper from Jalapa, a Nicaraguan binder, and a blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran filler. The vitola is called Parejo Gordo and measures 7" × 58 – approximately 178 mm in length and 23 mm in diameter. Each box contains 10 cigars; the run is limited to 6,000 boxes worldwide.

Design, craftsmanship & special features

The distinctive finish: an intricately braided tobacco plait at the head, paying homage to a horse’s mane. These caps require additional manual steps and a third roller; production takes roughly twice as long as for a standard cap. The edition is presented in a red-lacquered box with gold accents and a braided motif – a harmonious work of art for the humidor and an ideal gift.
