Punch Triunfos

Following on from Romeo y Julieta Club Kings, Partagas Capitols, H. Upmann Regalias and Hoyo de Monterrey Souvenir de Luxe, the Punch brand has also been given a Retro Line Habanos edition in the form of the Triunfos. The tobacco blend originates from the Pinar del Río / Vuelta Abajo region and stands out for the quality of its wrapper selection. The mild flavour of this blend offers an attractive alternative for those who enjoy a light, smooth and aromatic Habano with elegance and complexity. The Triunfos are packaged in a stylish aluminium tin containing five cigars.

About Punch

Punch is one of the oldest Habanos brands. Don Manuel López of Juan Valle & Co. founded this brand in the mid-19th century with an eye on the lucrative British market, where the satirical magazine of the same name—which had been published since 1841—was very much in vogue at the time. A contented Mr Punch, the clown who represented the magazine, can still be seen on every box of the brand, cigar in hand. He is surrounded by illustrations depicting cigar production in the 19th century. The manufacturing method has remained virtually unchanged for a century and a half.

Cigar exterior: Velvety , glossy wrapper.
Cigar interior: Soft to medium roll, well-crafted.
Smoke: Creamy , with a hint of sweetness and plenty of smoke volume.
Flavour: Earth, wood, leather with a hint of pepper and nut.
Burn: Good burn
