Secret Treasures by Nica Charles Vane

The Secret Treasures Nica Charles Vane cigar combines a spirit of discovery with modern Nicaraguan craftsmanship. In the Toro size (6 × 52) and with a silky Connecticut wrapper, it offers a creamy, well-rounded smoke with a clear structure – elegant, accessible and yet full of character. The name pays tribute to the notorious privateer Charles Vane, who operated in the Caribbean in the early 18th century, refused the King’s pardon and made a spectacular escape from Nassau in 1718 aboard a burning fireship. It is precisely this blend of courage, control and steadfastness that the Secret Treasures Nica Charles Vane cigar embodies: a reliable draw, a rich smoke volume and a harmonious aroma that is present from the very first puff.

A Toro with character – creamy, clean, controlled

The Secret Treasures Nica Charles Vane focuses on a silky, smooth smoking experience: the Connecticut wrapper provides a creamy texture and subtle sweetness, whilst the Nicaraguan filler contributes structure, cedar and gentle spice. The result is a well-balanced everyday Toro that appeals to both beginners and connoisseurs – perfect for a coffee break, an aperitif or as a stylish gift.

Inspiration: Charles Vane – Steadfastness rather than capriciousness

Historically, Charles Vane (c. 1680–1721) is known for his boldness, independence and navigational skills. He was part of the Nassau scene, refused the royal pardon in 1718 and escaped from the new governor, Woodes Rogers, with the help of a fireship. He was later captured and executed in Port Royal (Jamaica) in 1721. The analogy with the cigar: a precise course and controlled intensity rather than excess – this is how the Secret Treasures Nica Charles Vane cigar unfolds its flavours in a focused and consistent manner, right through to the finish.
