The PerfecRepair Cigar Glue, Sealer & Repair

The inventor of PerfecDraw, Dr Rod Kurthy from California, has once again come up with an idea and improved on a well-known product: namely, the natural glue used in cigar factories. By adding cellulose fibres (which are also used in the food industry), measuring over 60 microns in length and 1–2 microns in thickness, he has created PerfecRepair, a repair gel for cigars that very easily and quickly ‘seals’ cracks and holes in the cigar. The cigar is ready to smoke again after just a few seconds. As the fibres settle at the bottom of the bottle, the product must be shaken vigorously before each use. To ensure that PerfecRepair always delivers the correct mixture, four small mixing beads have also been added to the bottle.

How to use PerfecRepair

The top layer will separate:

• Shake the bottle vigorously until all the fibres are thoroughly mixed.
• Lift the wrapper and apply a small amount of PerfecRepair to the area of the cigar where the wrapper is to be reattached. Fold the wrapper back and gently smooth it into the correct position. Allow 60–90 seconds for the product to dry before smoking the cigar.

Air leaks (cracks or holes):

• Shake the bottle vigorously until all the fibres are thoroughly mixed.
• Dab (do not spread) PerfecRepair over the tear or hole. Fold the wrapper back and gently smooth it into the correct position. Allow 60–90 seconds for it to dry before smoking the cigar.
