The most important element in the conception of a new brand or line is the composition of the tobaccos, which ultimately determine the strength, the aroma, but also the course of the smoke, the burn and thus the flavour. This is where the experts from VILLIGER DE NICARAGUA and VILLIGER Söhne Germany were called upon. There is a large selection of high-quality Nicaraguan tobaccos. Condega Seco, rather medium-bodied with coffee flavours, Jalapa Viso, medium-bodied with bread flavours and a soft smoke, Estelí Ligero, a rather strong tobacco with pepper flavours.

Esteli, the Mecca of the Nicaraguan cigar industry

Nicaragua has increasingly developed in the production of handmade cigars over the last century. At the beginning of the 2000s, this development was accompanied by the increasing expansion of tobacco plantations on excellent soils with ideal climatic conditions. As a result, Estelí increasingly developed into the Mecca of Nicaragua's cigar industry.
