Aberlour 12-Year-Old Double Cask Single Malt Whisky 70cl

The Aberlour distillery is situated on the banks of the small stream known as the Lou and draws water from an underground spring for the production of its spirits. Together with the peaty soil and the local barley, this has a decisive influence on the resulting distillate, which only becomes a true single malt Scotch whisky after years of maturation. This Aberlour expression was matured for 12 years in both bourbon and sherry casks. As a result, the whisky has developed a mellow flavour with a malty, spicy aroma.
