Around 1900, the Netherlands was regarded as the centre of premium cigars. In hundreds of small factories, high-quality cigars were handcrafted from tobaccos sourced from all over the world. Balmoral was one of these small factories. Balmoral Cigars knew how to create cigars tailored precisely to its customers’ needs, which led to significant growth for the cigar manufacturer. Soon, the cigars were being exported to over 100 countries.
Today, Balmoral cigars are handmade in the Dominican Republic. The family business is now in its fourth generation and continues to produce premium cigars.
Balmoral offers a wide range of cigars. A particular highlight is the Balmoral Anejo XO, which is made from exceptionally long-aged tobacco.
