Bib&Tucker 6 Years Small Batch Bourbon Whisky 75cl

This whisky, bottled in California, is produced at an unnamed Tennessee distillery from 70% maize, 26% rye and 4% barley malt. Rumour has it that it is probably distilled at the Pritchards Distillery, as Jack Daniels and George Dickel (which also produce six- to eight-year-old whiskies) typically use at least 80 per cent maize in their distillation process. Following a double distillation process using a distillation column and a copper still, the bourbon is aged for at least six years in charred, American first-fill white oak casks. Incidentally, the name ‘Bib & Tucker’ was formerly used to describe items of clothing worn at weddings or for dancing.
