La Paz Cigarillos Brasil combine the time-honoured character of the La Paz brand with the distinctive flavour profile of Brazilian tobaccos. At the heart of the blend is a high-quality Brazilian wrapper, which gives the cigarillo its darker appearance and a full-bodied, slightly sweet character. The tobacco blend combines tobaccos from Brazil, Cuba (Havana) and Indonesia (Java). This creates a distinctive profile that harmoniously blends spice, natural sweetness and earthy tobacco notes.
Despite its robust appearance, the cigarillo is well-balanced. The Brazilian tobacco contributes a pleasant sweetness, whilst the Javanese and Cuban components provide additional spice and depth. La Paz Cigarillos Brasil are not artificially flavoured. Their characteristic flavour stems from the tobacco blend used and, in particular, the Brazilian wrapper.
La Paz Cigarillos Brasil
The wrapper from Brazil plays a key role. This variant is said to feature a Mata Fina wrapper, a traditional Brazilian tobacco variety prized for its aromatic, slightly sweet and spicy characteristics. Beneath this lies a binder made from Besuki tobacco from East Java.
This combination gives the cigarillo a distinctive character. Compared to particularly mild Sumatra or Ecuador cigarillos, a darker, spicier flavour profile comes to the fore here, without losing the natural sweetness.
Brazilian sweetness meets subtle spice
On the palate, earthy and woody tobacco notes develop initially. These are joined by light roasted aromas and a subtle natural sweetness. As the cigar is smoked further, the spiciness becomes slightly more pronounced, whilst the Brazilian character ensures a well-rounded and full-bodied overall impression. It is precisely this combination of spiciness and sweetness that makes this variant particularly interesting within the La Paz series.
Traditional enjoyment without flavouring
Measuring around 103 mm in length and approximately 9.3 mm in diameter, this format offers plenty of scope for a lovely development of aroma, whilst remaining compact enough for a manageable smoking session.
