Ciroc Peach Vodka 70cl

In 2003, Ciroc Vodka was launched in the USA by the Diageo Group and marketed by the well-known rapper P. Diddy. Despite its relatively short history, the vodka has already achieved cult status. This is probably due not only to clever strategic advertising campaigns, but also to its rather unusual ingredients (for a vodka). It is not made from grain, but from the Mauzac Blanc grape variety from the Gaillac region and the Ugni Blanc grape variety from the Cognac region in France. To produce it, the juice is extracted from the grapes and cold-fermented; this is followed by a five-stage distillation process, with the final stage taking place in a traditional Armagnac copper still.
Ciroc Peach is – as the name and design suggest – additionally flavoured with peach extracts. Possible cocktail creations using this flavoured vodka include the Peach Bellini and ‘On the Beach’ (mixed with cranberry juice and orange juice).
