New to the Línea Clásica

Following the announcement, the first sales took place on 19 March 2024 in the Swiss La Casa del Habano shops; Habanos Specialists followed from 26 March. In 2025, the Cohiba Ambar also celebrated its official market launch in Canada (8 April 2025). This means that the Ámbar is not a limited-edition flash in the pan, but a widely available, regular vitola in the Cohiba range.

Format & Craftsmanship

Short, full-bodied, full of character: 5¼ inches x 53 in the Placeres format, hand-rolled at the famous El Laguito factory in Havana. The Ambar features a distinctive pigtail cap and showcases Cohiba quality down to the last detail. Its tobaccos are additionally aged in wooden barrels – a hallmark of the brand – ensuring a balanced intensity (medium to full).
