DESCRIPTION
Like almost everything in the cigar industry, the Crowned Heads La Imperiosa range takes its name from Spanish, meaning roughly ‘The Urgent One’ or ‘The Necessary One’. It is an old Cuban brand dating back to the early 20th century. Crowned Heads Cigars acquired this brand in 2014 and had it registered. The cigars have been available on the US market since 2015 and represent the second series, following the Jericho Hill cigars, to be produced by Don Pepin Garcia at Tabacalera My Father Cigars.
The wrapper consists of a sun-grown Oscuro from Ecuador, whilst the binder and all the filler tobaccos come from Nicaragua. They are available in four different vitolas at fair prices. The basic profile of this range is mild and creamy, with a distinctly nutty flavour. Fortunately, this does not change drastically as the cigar is smoked; in fact, it becomes even slightly more chocolatey towards the end.

Crowned Heads is a relatively young boutique brand, but has since made a very good name for itself in the cigar world. This is largely thanks to Jon Huber and his co-founder Mike Conder, who, with tireless dedication and a unique passion, strive to perfect quality, flavour and consistency. The cigars are produced at renowned factories in Nicaragua.

Edle Zigarre
Optisch sehr schönes Deckblatt, satt gerollt. Brennt im letzten Drittel sehr heiss ab. Asche hält sich lang genug fest. Erde & Holz, etwas unregelmässig abgebrannt, minimale Touch-ups nötig.
