About Cuaba

With Cuaba cigars, just as with Cohiba, the name is a loanword from the language of the Taino Indians, the indigenous people of Cuba, whom Columbus’s men were already familiar with. It was the name given to a highly flammable shrub which the indigenous people used to light their cohibas (the indigenous word for tobacco rolls). All sizes feature filler and wrapper leaves from the Vuelta Abajo tobacco-growing region and are ‘totalmente a mano, tripa larga’ – long-filler cigars made entirely by hand.

Cigar construction: Medium roll, well-constructed.
Smoke: Creamy , with a hint of sweetness and plenty of smoke volume.
Flavour: Leather and wood dominate.
Burn: Good burn
