This cigar comes in the ‘Gordito con cabeza tombada’ format, also known as ‘Insólito’, with a length of 141 mm and a ring gauge of 50. A distinctive feature of this format is the unique ‘109’ head, which strikes a harmonious balance between the classic round head of a Parejo and the pointed shape of a Belicoso.

Made from select tobaccos from Cuba’s renowned Vuelta Abajo region, the El Emisario offers a medium to full-bodied smoking experience. Köstliche Entdeckung
Eine Marke, die mir als Cuba aficionado noch nicht bekannt war. Für mich spielt sie genauso in der Liga der bekannten „grossen“ mit. Das intensive leicht kakauartige (nicht schokoladig) Aroma der Zigarre vor dem Anzünden verspricht schon viel. Ich empfehle, sie ausgiebig zu beschnuppern und ein paar kalte Züge vor dem Anzünden zu geniessen. Danach entfaltet sich ein schon zu Beginn komplexes Aroma von dezenten Hölzern mit leichten Kakao-und Kaffeearomen. Erdiges fügt sich harmonisch hinzu, ohne dominant zu werden. Man erschmeckt die kubanische Landschaft und wird zum träumen eingeladen. Hervorragender Abbrand, sehr guter Zug und stabile Asche. Schön viel cremiger Rauch mit nur einem Hauch von Süsse. Zum Glück habe ich nicht nur eine davon.
