Hermann Upmann: from banker to cigar manufacturer
Hermann Upmann was a German banker who loved Cuban cigars so much that he moved to Havana in 1844, where he subsequently worked as both a banker and a cigar manufacturer. His bank had to close shortly after 1920, but his cigars live on as an excellent example of a Habano ranging from mild to medium in strength. The key to Upmann’s success was his commitment to delivering nothing but first-class quality. H. Upmann Habanos were renowned for their packaging in elegant boxes made from Spanish cedar, complete with a guarantee and Hermann Upmann’s signature – production took place, and continues to take place, in Havana.

Immer noch etwas Besonderes
Vermutlich werden die neueren Ernten etwas kürzer fermentiert und gelagert? Auch lockerer gerollt kommen meine aktuellen daher.. Daher vielleicht etwas weniger cremig als früher. Aber immer noch sehr aromareich mit vollem Rauch, Immer noch eine meiner Lieblinge. Wenn die grösseren Formate nicht zu bekommen sind, nehme ich diese sehr gerne als Ersatz.

Sehr gute Preis-Leistung
Die Magnum Serie gehört zu meinen absolut Lieblingen! Obwohl ich die 54 und 50 lieber habe, kann ich die 46 ebenfalls empfehlen. Fantastischer Smoke für an einem entspannten Freitagabend.
Absolute Kaufempfehlung.
