Superb craftsmanship

Dominican Estates cigars are produced by the renowned Tabacelera de Garcia factory in the Dominican Republic and are characterised by superb craftsmanship and quality. José Seijas, the factory manager at Tabacelera Garcia, created the Dominican Estates range and is regarded within the tobacco industry as one of the most talented master blenders of all time. When developing this blend, the premise of an ‘unbeatable price-to-enjoyment ratio’ was taken very seriously. The cigar band is unusual and striking, changing colour depending on the angle of the light!

The filler consists of tobaccos from Colombia and the Dominican Republic, the binder is a US Broadleaf and the wrapper a Connecticut Shade. When developing this range, Señor Seijas took particular care to ensure the cigars offered excellent value for money, and he has been very successful in this regard.

The cigars are hand-rolled and boast very distinctive flavour notes that are spicy yet pleasant. Over time, sweet, creamy notes become apparent, blending beautifully with chocolate and nutty flavours, whilst occasionally revealing hints of grass. The burn and smoke volume are well balanced in this rather mild cigar, which offers good draw resistance. Thanks to its exceptional variety of flavours and high quality at an affordable price, the Dominican Estates range is a real find and a must-have in any humidor.
