German Engineered Cigars is a boutique cigar brand from Hamburg, founded by three engineers. The focus is on craftsmanship, aesthetics and flavour – free from unnecessary marketing. The cigars speak for themselves through their craftsmanship and the sensory experience they offer.
Blends & Product Lines
The blends bear unusual, culturally profound names such as RVGN Rauchvergnügen, Raumzeit, Weltschmerz and, in future, Kraftwerk. Raumzeit is considered mild to medium-bodied, clean and creamy, with subtle spice and tea notes. It uses, amongst other things, a Connecticut Shade wrapper (Nicaragua), a binder from Sumatra and filler from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Weltschmerz, on the other hand, is darker and more melancholic, with flavour notes such as chocolate, raisins, vanilla, hazelnut and coconut, delivering a deep, complex smoking experience. The Kraftwerk line, in development since spring 2025, promises a powerful, aromatic experience with dark woods, chocolate, spices, nuts and a fresh hint of mint. The blend is created at Tabacalera La Isla under the direction of Hostos Fernández.
