Gold of Mauritius Dark Rum 70cl

In the 18th century, the French ruled the island paradise of Mauritius and introduced sugar cane as a cash crop. Rum production began almost immediately and has remained an important industry to this day. ‘Gold of Mauritius’, produced by a company called Litchquor at the Grays Distillery, is a dark rum with no age statement. This is because, in this case, different casks are blended together. The blend then spends a few more months in port casks.
