Plantation 20th Anniversary is a blend of various very old Barbados rums. These were first aged for many years in bourbon casks in the tropics. They are then transferred to small French oak casks, where they continue to mature in the cool cellars of Château de Bonbonnet in Cognac. This ageing process, also known as ‘double ageing’, imparts an incomparable smoothness and richness.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Mahogany
Nose: Intensely fruity with aromas of banana, apricot, vanilla and toast.
Palate: Very well-balanced, smooth and gentle, and very pleasing. The intense aroma and flavour of vanilla, ripe banana, sugar cane and toasted coconut are rich and linger long on the finish. Perfect, light sweetness – a typical Caribbean rum!
Finish: the alcohol is wonderfully integrated and by no means overpowering. Long-lasting, creamy and full-bodied. Fresh in character – always exciting, even after repeated tastings!
